Alestain's artistic endeavours..
« on: January 17, 2016, 07:07:45 PM »
So I've taken up drawing again after many years of not doing anything very artistic. I decided to have a go at drawing my three TSW characters...

Ohhh, look at you, Mr. Budding Artist. The one thing I always regretted is not taking some art classes in college.

Keep practicing and showing us your progress. :P

I've always wanted to be able to draw. Now I'm jealous!

Its a quaggan! Now draw them when they get fierce and go into scary fight mode
Beware of typing voices, they make everyone sound much ruder than they actually are

And I did this for my housemate - it's a sketch of one of the main characters from the book she's writing.

Looks good Alestain. Well done!

Just one thing regarding the kitsune. I first thought, that's one very happy fox, but then I realized that red line is probably not a mouth as few foxes has their mouth above the nose. It's something to keep in mind. An item, or just a line, in the wrong place, or even in the right place but not clear enough, can get a whole new meaning for the viewer.

Hah good point Teek, I never thought about that. It's actually part of a marking on his face which you can see properly from other angles but it completely didn't occur to me it'd look like that from this side! I'll definitely keep that in mind in future.
